If inverter's indicator is red , please check the input voltage from battery or dc power supply, it may be higher or lower than the voltage range of operating power inverters. You`d better measure the voltage at the terminal of inverter, which is different from the voltage from the terminal of the battery. Because cables between the battery and inverter may decrease voltage when it arrive to the terminal of inverter, especially using a long cable, the voltage from inverter terminal will decrease a lot.
